The BassXX Preamp can be configured for bass or guitar, and the BassXX Piezo can be built for more than 6 strings. These electronics take a couple of weeks to get, and then we'll ship these small items to you via postal mail (usually $15).

For direct custom orders, instruments are made according to your specifications and take about 3 to 4 months to complete. Preferred payment methods are, in order: e-mail money transfer, bank wire transfer, PayPal, certified cheque, money order, Visa (+3%), MasterCard (+3%). Credit card payments for non-Canadian customers are in CA$ with exchange rates chosen by the credit card companies, resulting in minor variations from the prices given here. It is usually possible to use PayPal even if you don't have a PayPal account. No sales tax for American orders! GST/HST will be added for sales in Canada. Shipping and handling from Germany to North America is around US$300, and duties are typically five or six percent.
Most instruments come with a deluxe gig bag, battery, tools, and two-year warranty on electronics and hardware. We also plan to offer an upgrade to a hardshell case, as well as custom strings and other accessories. Please "stay tuned" for details.
Once you've decided that you would like to get a BassLab, contact us to discuss your needs and we'll create a quote that details your specifications. When you are ready to order, submit the deposit (typically 30-50%) and construction will begin. The remainder is due before final shipment. During construction, you will be given regular progress updates.
